Who Am I?

I'm Jean Val- Wait,No.

I'm not good at talking about myself so I had ChatGPT ask me questions for this part.
But I also asked it to be mean.
Enjoy.
Q: Where were you born and raised—somewhere that explains why you turned out this way, or did you just end up there because it was the only place that would have you?
A: San Diego, California

Q: What’s the story behind your career journey—did you accidentally stumble into it, or did you wake up one day and think, ‘I want a job where everyone yells at me’?
A: Funny Enough, I was on track to a sports medicine career. I had my entire life planned out. But my junior year of college I had a ✨Mental Breakdown✨. When I recovered, I found that my priorities had changed. I wanted to make Make Believe for a living. So I changed schools, majors, AND cities. Let me tell you, My immigrant parents were NOT happy lol. But it all worked out in the end.

Q: If your work in production had a theme song, would it be something dramatic... or just the sound of you cursing under your breath?
A: "Why God Why?" From Miss Saigon - No follow up questions, please.

Q: What’s the most unusual project you’ve worked on—was it a creative triumph, or just a flaming dumpster of bad decisions held together by coffee and blind optimism?
A: Real Housewives of Orange County.
Working in reality tv will humble even the most pretentious film school graduate.

Q: What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received about working in production—besides ‘Good luck, you’ll need it’ or ‘You’re gonna regret this’?”
A: People would rather have someone thats good at their job and a pleasure to be around than someone who is amazing at their job but a complete asshole.

Q: If you weren’t in Film/Television, what would you be doing instead—something respectable, or would you still be finding new ways to disappoint your parents?
A: Theatre. Honestly, I still hope to make the jump eventually. I want to be in a position where I can produce TV, Film, and Theatre. Like a Scott Rudin type.. Wait, no.. Hold on.

Q: What’s one of the most proud moments in your career so far—when you didn’t completely ruin everything, or when someone finally stopped yelling at you for five minutes?
A: Getting my first job. Breaking into this business is tough. Most of the people I graduated with didn't even get that far.
So I stay thankful everyday for this opportunity.
